Challenges

  1. Stores experience $3.2B in annual damaged merchandise and the portion impacted by freight delivery is unknown.

  2. Current freight-receiving processes are fragmented and involve a variety of paper processes across Supply Chain and Stores

  3. 99% of freight receiving in stores occurs with no real-time data validation.

  4. Freight often arrives with loading problems and damages and there is no way to provide feedback to support operational improvements.
